Nuke Cops: Our meet for a night out |
|
 Well folks, we've grown quickly and have your terrific support driving us forward. I'd like to travel on occasion and meet with the membership throughout the world. Lets make our first one at home base. My suggestion is having a gathering on a Friday afternoon/evening perhaps at the NJ Shore. in September. I'm in, who else is joining me? I think it would be great to see the faces behind the names and to talk not only about PHP-Nuke but to just hang out.

Not being preferential here, but being closer to me in Central NJ means NYC people can come down within 30-45 mins driving. Some can even bus it if they REALLY wanted to.
But Seaside and down in the boonies is way too far for even Philly people to make it.
I drew a map and suggested the Edison area based on the circle of replies.

ZX is about 40 minutes from me, NYC is 35 minutes from Manhattan, 45 Minutes from South Street Philly and 1 hour from Dover Delaware.
I recommend an easy convenient location like Woodbridge or Edison NJ area.
Thats right in the middle of everyone.
I know most of the clubs/bars/restaraunts around here. Let me know and I'll hook it up.

Im starting to get some numbers together here, because I looked into a couple of places around the WoodBridge NJ area.
Its the dead center of NJ, along the NJ turnpike Exit 11, Garden State Parkway Exit 130ish? and its along the train lines for people who don't drive and live in the Philly area or NYC. From any direction its a one hour travel time max.
I have looked into a few places and need to give them numbers, so being that ZX wants this either the second or third Friday of September, I gotta get numbers NOW.
So Add to this thread, if your coming. Also put which Friday is better. Thanks people. |
