After changing the website's back-end from a self-written, ASP-based system to PHPNuke the number of registered users exploded to currently 8650 members from the US, Germany, Afghanistan and all over the world!
The Afghan chat and forum with more than 110.000 postings and several thousand news has proven that the upgrade of our back-end to PHPNuke was successful. More than 8650 members are having discussions, listening to Afghan music, reading the latest news on afghanchat.com and have made it the #1 Afghan website with currently almost 500.000 pageviews a month!
Thanks to all the Nuke-developers out there that have written all those useful scripts that we've been using for more than a year now. The move up from 6.9 to the latest PHPNuke is up next and we hope to keep the standards!
