a new project - cpgnuke: the gallery running in Nuke |
|
NukeEvangelist writes "a new project cpgnuke - gallery-nuke -
cpgnuke.com states "You've found the impressive, modified PHP-Nuke of the CPG Dev Team. PHP-Nuke 6.5 has been massively tweaked, bug fixed, accelerated and secured, and is named CPG-Nuke Our first project, Coppermine Photo Gallery for PHP-Nuke and PostNuke can be found at Coppermine & Sourceforge
please travel over and have a closer look at the new project cpgnuke.com - it is somewhat like a gallery-compagion of the e-commerce project osc2nuke :: osc2nuke @ SourceForge"

Re: a new project - cpgnuke: the gallery running in Nuke (Score: 1) by blumie607 on Tuesday, March 09 @ 21:57:16 CET (User Info | Send a Message) | I saw this post over at Pitcher@home a few days ago and I was very disturbed. I will explain why.
First of all, lets get the names straight:
Coppermine Photo Gallery (aka CPG)- This is a photo gallery script/module. Its website is at http://coppermine.findhere.org.
CPG Nuke 8.0- This is a full blown nuke "branch". There are many differences between CPG Nuke and PHP-Nuke, and they grow everyday. For information on this project, check out http://www.cpgnuke.com.
This may be confusing because they both contain CPG. The reason for this is sort of two fold. First off all, CPG Nuke contains as a preinstalled module the Coppermine Photo Gallery. Also, CPG Nuke is developed by the same people as CPG (namely DJMaze and Akamu).
Apparently, there are also big changes in store for Coppermine Photo Gallery, but right now the focus is on CPG Nuke.
Hope this clears things up. |
