MS-Analysis v1.1 Released |
|
Mat writes "MS-Analysis v1.1 has been released. This script analyses all incoming 'traffic' and stores all properties (like IP -address, hostname, amount of visits) of a member/visitor. An overview is given of:
Countries, Referrals, Searchines Engines, Search queries, browsers, Web Crawlers, Operating Systems, Used Modules, Screen Resolutions, User Stats and Visitors Stats.
This overview is given for:
- the 'current' day
- the last XX days
- all days (since installation)
As admin you can:
- Make settings for IP's and Users that should be excluded from being
logged.
- Define your own search engines that should be logged.
- 'Auto prune' at definable time stamps the MSA tables
- Set your time zone (GMT Time)
- Make a backup of the gathered statistical data
MS-Analysis has it's own User Info which is displayed when you are logged in as Admin and click. MS-Analysis is in fact an extended version of PHP-Nuke Statistics.
Download it at Maty Scripts
The following new features have been implemented in v1.1:
General:
- Each day the last Page Visits Table is emptied automatically, so that it
doesn't become too big any more
- Automatic Pruning of the MSA Tables
- General Overview changes
- User can select and view now the statistics for
- Today
- Last X days (user defineable)
- Overall statistics
- Today's Statistics display now graphs for the page visits per hour
- Last X days display now graphs for the page visits per month
- Overall statistics display now graphs for the page visits per year
- A link in the PHPNuke Admin GUI to the MSA Admin Settings
- Improved Browser detection: Crazy Browser and NetCaptor are added
- Totals are displayed now in every overview
Admin Section:
- Different Interface
- Search for IP-Address
- Configuration of Default Overview
- Configuration of System Time Zone (GMT setting)
- Resetting of Stats Today
- Resetting of Stats Last X days
- Resetting of ALL stats
The coming 2 weeks, 3 new options for MSA v1.1 will be released:
1. A replacement of the counter.php file of PHP-Nuke. The code of
mstrack is then integrated in the includescounter.php file. The advantages are
then:
- The MSA 'footer-line' is then not required any more.
- For users who have their host in a different time zone, the page visits
(normally generated bij this file) have the correct timestamp
- The page visit counter is not increased any more by users which are
excluded by MSA
2. Due to the fact that HTTP WEB based service of ip-to-country is
currently off-line, I created one extra table and imported the IP-to-Country
Database. Currently I have this running test on my site, where MSA looks for the
country in this table. As Admin you have now when extra option; to resolve the
country from the local database.
3. A combination of 1 and 2
Admin Note: Correct link added, --ZX."

Re: MS-Analysis v1.1 Released (Score: 1) by VinDSL on Saturday, August 09 @ 02:28:02 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) http://www.lenon.com/ | Looking good! The transparent GIF icons in the menu didn't look so hot on a black background, so I made some non-tramsparent PNGs out of ones in the v1.0 package. The overview screens weren't framed correctly either IMHO. The menu's were okay, shrunk slightly and centered. However, the overview screens were 100% and laying up against the Nuke blocks on one side and the scrollbar on the other. I made them 98% and centered them using the DIV tag in the index file.
Looks like it working great, Mat! Thanks again! ( MS-Analysis v1.1 in action on my site [www.lenon.com]) |
