Nuke Gangsta, This distro may not be for you.
General NewsMesum writes "Someone wise said once:
"Need is the mother of Invention"
That is exactly why I started this modded version of PHP-Nuke and named it Nuke Gangsta
Friends, if you run or planning to run a portal website which offers almost everything to it's users and competes with other portals site, you have 3 ways do make it happen.
1: Pay someone to code a script for you.
2: Code it yourself.
3: Use an Open Source/ Free code.

If you are paying someone, chances are you will end up paying thousands of Dollars to get what you want, plus the time for script to get done and debugged.
If you are planning to code it yourself, once again, you'll have to spend a lot of time and efforts to make it happen.
3rd option is the easiest and most common these days, which is use an Open Source or Free code for the website. All you need is a Free/Paid hosting account and some experience with web and you are ready to setup your website.
But when it comes to picking a right system for your website, it gets really hard to decide which one to pick.
Now the difference between a FREE and an OPEN SOURCE script.
Both scripts are free to use in most part but there are few things that are not usually allowed in FREE script - Such as editing the code for your needs, using few or all part of the script and make it available to others to use.
OPEN SOURCE on the other hand gives you all the rights to do whatever you like with the script as long as copyright of author stays in the code.
Here is a small list of Open Source portal systems that are available to the world:
Open Site Manager.
MD Pro.
Want to know something funny about it? They are all forks of PHP-Nuke!

When it comes to options available to website owners, support that community provides and security add-ons nothing beats PHP-Nuke and that is why I picked PHP-Nuke to Make a portal system that has everything a webmaster could ever need for his/her site.

Nuke Gangsta is a completely modded version of PHP-Nuke that is aimed to provide the webmaster community an ease of running a website without any updated to code and/or changes for security.
Also 60% of PHP-Nuke code has either been changed or reworked to get a maximum result for your website while still maintaining the standards of PHP-Nuke so if you would like to add or delete something you don't like, you can.
The code of Nuke Gangsta is currently in progress but it wont be too long until you'll see a version of it.
Please feel free to register at Nuke Gangsta's Website to check out all the features about Nuke Gangsta
