New version 3.0 of the Approve Membership module!
Moduleschris writes "Hello Nukers,

a new version of the Approve Membership v.3.0 PHP-Nuke module is available for download! This is a new version, with new features like:

The option to include the activation link or not.
The option to semi-automate the approval process. With this option, the admin can pre-approve known email addresses (from student lists, club members, family and friends etc).
If an applicant is on the pre-approved list, his application is automatically approved without the intervention of admin.
If an applicant is not on the approved list, there are various configurations for dealing with the application.
The automated process is configurable in admin.
And of course, correction of bugs.

See the Authorize Accounts thread for details on the new features and a discussion.

Author: Ken Arnold Website: Ulsoft Release Date: 14th December 2003 Download Link: Approve Membership v.3.0-6.9 PHP-Nuke module New Features: Administrators can pre-approve a list of email addresses. Only those on the pre-approved list of applicants will be automatically registered. For applicants who are not pre-approved, the administrator can configure the module to reject the application completely, reject the application and send a customisable rejection email, add the applicant to a list of pending applications and send a customisable follow-up email, or add the applicant to the pending applications list only. Many applications in the pending users list can now be processed with a single click of a button The option is now available to include the activation link or not to users approved by the administrator from the pending users list Bugs Fixed A database update error occurring when users were updating customised emails has been corrected. An error in the SQL file to add the tables has been corrected. Existing Features The module allows an administrator to approve membership applications. The applicant's details are sent to a pendingusers table and a notification email is sent to the administrator. A list of pending applicants is displayed to the administrator, who can delete or approve as he thinks fit. On approval, the normal email is sent to the applicant. The option is available to add a customisable message to this email. The option is available to send a follow up email to an applicant. This email is customisable. The option is available to send an email to a rejected applicant. This email is customisable. Additional Information: The Approve Membership v.3.0-6.9 PHP-Nuke module is extensively discussed in a Authorize Accounts at Chris Karakas' PHP-Nuke forum"
