user47a writes "BNXS RSS is an import module that will allow you to take
any number of XML/RSS news feeds and import the Title, Description and Link
directly into the news section of your site. This will allow you to have
categorized content in a matter of minutes that users can comment on and search
through. You can also apply all of the regular news blocks, archiving functions,
related content links to each imported RSS item. This module comes with a cron
script so that you can grab new blog or news items at any frequency. Combine
this module with GoogleTap and you have fresh new content for your site each and
every day that search engines can index quickly & easily. Very simple to setup
and requires very little modifications to the database. Download and Demo are
both at our Web Design and Development Site (free registration required). "

Re: RSS/XML Import Module (Score: 1) by Intelgio on Monday, December 26 @ 17:57:34 CET (User Info | Send a Message) http://www.cafewire.com | Is there any support for this mod? I have installed the module and have run into a problem with adding news feeds. After I have added the URL in the administration window, I am returned to the administration menu for my site and the URL is not added.
It looks like there should be a database table that should have been installed, but maybe it is not there?
