Here I am, getting ready to see what's happening in the Nuke Cops forums after a long hiatus and my hack's on the front page! :D Thanks, Fez. The content hack doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it works & I hope people find it useful. I like the Content module of PHP-Nuke and never see it utilized as much as it could be. Please let me know over at NukeDiva if you have any problems with it. I'll be trying to make it better as time permits. |
Re: NukeDivas submit Content Module! (Score: 1) by AllyAnderson on Monday, January 19 @ 18:05:17 CET (User Info | Send a Message) | | I'm still fairly new to PHPNuke and am wondering what everyone uses the content module for. I plan to run articles on my site and will be using the topics module for that. What would you use the content/sections module for? And wouldn't being able to submit info the content mod be similar to the topics mod? Is content/section customizable or something? What I'd love to do is have my visitors be able to enter their favorite quotes and then display them at random in a block. The only mods I've seen that do this are calling from another site or a large database that's only updated by the webmaster. That's why I ask. I'm still learning my way around. :) Thanks for humoring a newbie. |
