All recipes have been lost! - NOOOOOOoooo!!!! |

 intelgio writes "As I sit here starring blankly at my monitor, I have mixed emotions about how my web hosting service lost the HomeCulinaryJournal.com database and all of its backups. I had what I thought was a full backup (created using their backup utility) of January 2006 on a local drive. This had been installed only to find that it cut off in the recipe section… All recipes were lost!
I can almost picture a Kahn-like character (…anyone remember Star Trek, the Wrath of Kahn?) saying in his scheming, whispering tone, “…all of the recipes have been dumped into the freezing depths of space… That’s right… they are all gone… gone… FOREVAHHHHHHhhhhhhh!!!!” That would put me in Kirk’s position of shouting “Kahn!!!” repeatedly while shaking with rage.
What good is a recipe site without recipes? How does a recipe website recover from such a catastrophic event? HomeCulinaryJournal.com asks for your help in this crisis. Any recipes you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
