amazon-web services: new promising scripts - ready to port over to PHPNuke |
|
nukeevangelist writes " Amazon web services :: Jaap's free Amazon PHP Scripts - some very promising scripts - ready to port over to phpnuke
Jaaps Amazon web services page describes PHP scripts that can interface with the XML version of Amazon's Web Services (AWS). It also contains links to more information about PHP and AWS and to sites with other scripts.
Travel over to the Amazon web services site - get insights, get free code and get help in porting over the mods to PHPNuke - eg at the forums
btw: the scripts run on server that have fopen disabled!! for more infos see Amazon web services and get more infos "

Jaaps site has great scripts [www.chipdir.nl] :: these are very handy scripts - take a look at them!
see for example the Different scripts:you can
Test the script
get the Source code as .phps file(s)
get the Source code as .php.txt file(s)
see for example the script in the second row: amazonh3.php
Most people will want to start building upon this script. It's the most advanced one and should be able to do everything that the others can and more. This is the main script, which uses my own build-in XML interpreter..
BTW: See a quick port over to postnuke - with a wrapper module: here at this site - test it and play with it [www.humphreyfreehold.com]
http://www.humphreyfreehold.com/index.php?module=PostWrap&page=static/amazon/amazonh3.php
to make a block out of it would fit many needs
just play with the scripts and see what they can do for you. Note - they work without and server limitations - you can have a very scrictly configured server
have fun
regards

I have ported the amazonh3.php script as a PHP-Nuke Module. You can test it at Ulsoft [ www.ulsoft.scarbridge.co.uk] I have called it Amazon Search and is in the Meny for all visitors. If there is any interest, post in the Forums at that site and I will zip it up and make it available for download.
re: hi there Ken,
many thanks for doing this great job. This is a great thing!
Amazon-mods are real-world applications that are wanted and needed by many many
Nukers from all over the globe! Many thanks for doing this.
