first Vindsl many many thanks for publishing this article. This is a great thing. I am very thankful that you published this article. It is sure a new step towards the evolving project.
btw: to get the ball rolling in the phpmyhotel port i asked some nukers: they are interested - and besides the nukers there are the core devs over at:
