And, like Windows, PHP-Nuke stores it's info, settings and anything else third-party in a database as well. No "Nuke" installation should be without it. DaDaNuke saves time as well as educates. Here's an example...
You just downloaded this great new module, install it and get busy entering data. Suddenly the data fields come up empty. Normally, like most geeks or programers, we stop what we are doing and get totally obsessed with finding the solution for this issue. You "Google-it", think you finally found the code fix, close your web browser and then, well, you know the rest. Using DaDaNuke, I would instead find the troubled table, fix it or just insert the data manually, save the record and move on.
