HACK: Download Traffic & Flow control - Version 0.50 |

 Xyberian writes "Have you raised a question to yourself like "what happens if 100 movie files (average size of files is around 250MB) are being downloaded by your site users at the same time?" Probably, some of nukers are skeptical about this question. This happens in several sites which NukeKorea Dev. team supports. They requested a module or hack to control download traffics and flow control.
Recognizing this wired happenings, NukeKorea Dev. team made a hack of "Download" module to enable PHP-Nuke site managers to control the followings:
1) Maximum number of download users withing a certain duration
2) Displaying traffic infomation and how many downloads are in
3) Informing them of whether or not download files are avialable.
The main advantages in using download traffic flow control hack are
1) lessening your sending/ receiving bands
2) watching who are downloading and what are being downloaded
3) traffic signals to indicate avilability

This hack is a part of download traffic control package for PHP-Nuke accompanying with "Ticket System." The fundamental purpose of this hack, as you expect, to control # of simulataneous users who are accessing downloads and duration. This hack employs "queue" concept to control FIFO (First-In First-Out).

we love all your great contributions and especially your classifieds are a superb contribution-
what about your phpESP-Trials - see the thread on this page - some days ago - there you mused bout the contribution of your ideas towards a phpESP-module. If you would share your experience bout this integration - you would get back many many feedback and we could achieve a great great module.

on a side note: have alook at the torrent developments which also are great achievements for phpnuke as woll see http://www.bitnile.com and see the new project
