 FHFGhost writes "PHPNuke Spam Assasin is an attempt to block phpnuke web crawlers from gaining knowledge of your email address posted on your phpnuke site. Follow the simple instructions within the zip file and your site should be better protected against it. Web Crawlers even for Google like to crawl through your site most of the time to allow your site to be searchable but at the same time gives out your email address if it isn't suitably protected. PHPNuke Spam Assasin recodes your email address by displaying it in ASCII characters which most crawlers will pass right by it. Only the smartest web crawlers will find it. And those are few and far between. They usually are targeted at specific websites. In the future there may be a way to prevent spam better but for now this is my attempt to help prevent it.
