 Scribbles writes "The CWDGOnline.org site was hacked on 05/25/2004, sometime early in the morning. The e-mail that was sent out via the forums mass e-mail program included this message:

I do not know who these people are, but they have made changes to the site, and are using PHPNuke for their own site.

(User Info | Send a Message) http://castlecops.com | One of the first things you should do in a case like this is run Analyzer [nukecops.com]. It'll alert you on any glaring security issues (some not all). plus it'll show you if anything is suspicious.
Analyzer is a great PHP-Nuke troubleshooting tool. |

It almost leads me to believe these people simply look at older versions of Nuke in the stats and then hope there are no patches at all installed and then goto town. Install Fortress or something similar. |
