ShoutCast Tools for Php-Nuke FINALLY released! |
|
strom writes "Finally, after several setbacks, the ShoutCast Tools for Php-Nuke have been released. This is the same set of tools which have been in use at Glowdot for 3 months, helping us to administer a playlist of nearly 1500 songs. The package stores song details in the Nuke database, and pulls album name, album cover, amazon asin and more from the database.
The full package includes a Now Playing block (with full database support), an Amazon block (pulls a random album from the database with links to Amazon), a Last 10 Songs + Stats module, and a feature rich administration panel.
Code and details available at code.glowdot.com, and the front end can be seen at Glowdot and Gargoyle Dawn"

This free software allows you to provide on-demand music playlists from a Flash-based interface.
I haven't tried it out but the concept is really neat and Im sure it could be integrated into PHP-Nuke as a block.
Check it out ! |
