A Special Thank You and a Contest! |
|
msimonds writes "
I wanted to write a special thank you for all of you that
have helped me over the past year. The people and members of the nuke
community have been great to me and responded to my questions extremely fast.
I know that I will not be able to thank everyone that has helped me because I
cam getting old and cannot remember everyone's names.
I have left the nuke community and my site is now custom
designed. I have switched to vbulletin for my forums. I did this because my
sports community is expanding and I had to be able to go beyond the restrictions
of phpnuke. I am not saying that there are user restrictions, just that I
needed a change to be able to expand. So in spite of my changes here are my
personal thank you to the people of nuke, in the order that these great members
of the nuke community have helped me!

This is the first person that ever helped me in nuke and my mentor for
learning php, which is an ongoing process. He has become a personal friend
and is also my host, an outstanding one at that. He has taught me
everything from the basics to understanding everything about php and
phpnuke.
-
Raven - Thank you for your
personal touches, modifications, and php classes that have helped me
understand this foreign language. Your knowledge of programming at all
levels is second to none. I hope that in the future all of you will
come to know this great man and kind hearted gentleman. Again I cannot thank
you enough.

- Thank You for all your personal help
with modifications that you have done for sportsrant.com in the past, your
custom work is outstanding and you deserve kudos. I recommend his
custom work to anyone that needs special consideration or modifications
done. His prompt attention to detail and personal work ethic is one of the
best that I have ever seen. I cannot thank you enough.
- Burnwave
- By far the best young php coder out there, for
someone that is under 20 years old, he cannot be beat. His
understanding of nuke and php is by far the best that I have come across.
His Emporium store software for nuke is the best ecommerce software for
phpnuke that exists. His attention to detail and extremely fast work
are second to none. I will continue to work with this man as long as I
run a site on the internet.
And to everyone else that I have forgot to mention, thank you and good luck
with your future endeavors whether it be with phpnuke or something that you
decide to switch to! As far as my site, It has turned out to be
outstanding. I am running a contest at the
Rant, I
am currently giving away $ 2000.00 to
current or new members, without a catch. The Rules are on the main page of the
site. So Join the Rant today and good luck to everyone. The drawing is
April 1, 2004.
All My Best,
