i just want to have banners with effects like gif or swf.
gif-banners are showed, but not animated. swf(flash)-banners don't work at all.
Do I have to code something, and what specially? Or do I have to take a other banner-system to work?
Thanks for help. I hope it isn't written somewhere else in this forum, I searched longtime without any help in this direction.
I've also installed a new fresh version of nuke 6.5 without beeing better.
Thanks, ant
Updatet: today I wanted to use a "normal" animated gif. It don't work!! It's not animated! Why? Is this an option by my ISP? Something with my Browser? Can someone give me an answer to this?

hi sugs,
would this mean, that the included banner-system don't work with swf-banners? Do I have to code the entire banner-system??
But the real problem is I think with my ISP. In fact, also when I code a simple html-site with <img src=image.gif>, the gif is not animated... to "embed" the gif wasn't a solution for me. I want to put it as an html-code in a module, so the img-tag should go.
Thanks for your help, and if you know something belong the problem with animated gifs, inform me!! Thanks

Actually Sugs that doesn't answer my question or his for that matter. What I am trying to do is, and from what I can gather he is trying to do the same thing, is use the included banner module. Now I tried your suggestion and type the embed command into the text box where it requests the URL to the banner, but to no avail (nuke 6.5 as well). Perhaps I misunderstood your directions, but the answer was rather brief so I just assumed you meant type the embed command in the "IMG URL" text box.

I was directed to this website by a fellow Nuker, and I think this is what you're looking for Ant. Its a module that will replace your existing banner system, and it allows flash banners.
