I hope this is the right forum for posting this question ??
I am new to php nuke and need someone to help me modify the download module so it links directly to my download file the same as it does clicking on homepage.
I am using lycos and get an error page instead of the download unless its a direct link to the file.
If anyone can help I would apprecite it.
Thanks

Hi, what's the error exactly? Check out the welcome thread in the announcement forum too.

Hi thanks for replying.
The problem is I am using lycos to store the downloads and unless it is a direct url to the file their server generates the Lycos homepage.
I tried a number of other free webhosts and found the same problem as well.
If I put the direct link in Internet Explorer the downloads work but when I enter them into the download module and click on them there I go straight to the Lycos homepage instead.
I have spent some time trying to figure this out but I am new to php.
