Topic Image Problem

I am having an issue with the Topic Image being displayed after the news is submitted.

When I preview the news before I submit, it shows the topic image but when it posts the link gets broken.

I did a right click properties during the preview and it looks good like this:

http://www.domain.com/html/images/topics/topicimage.gif

but after I post and do the same It shows this:

http://www.domain.com/html/images/topics/

basically the image name disappears when its submitted.

Can someone pleeeeeease help?

I am using "ClanMts Theme" but the problem exists no matter which theme I use.

This was the closest to line 26 as I could get that seems to be what you are asking for:

unfortunately that did not work either. I did notice that the images show up when you view the stories through story archive but they do not display on the main page.

very weird. Sad
