It seems one of my mods or admins deleted a thread (busy going through logs to check on that) and I would like to restore it from my backups. The question is, how do you restore a single thread? This thread was pretty big and had been around for a few years so it would be a shame if I can't get it back.

Well you'd have to rebuild it from the entries in the topics and posts tables. It is really is some work to isolate all the entries from a specific topic, but it is possible if you know the phpBB table structure
Yeah, seems like it will be a bit of work to get it sorted.
