Hi folks... We've being using PHPNuke for a few years, and I want to install a module. My husband, who has done all the coding so far, has given up on figuring out how to do this. According to the admin page, I just download the module, put it inside the /modules/ folder, upload it, then refresh the Modules page in admin and the module will appear as deactivated. This didn't work! Is there something I have to do to the source to get the module to show up? Also, all I want is a module similar to content that will let me make a plain php page. I forget the module I downladed that isn't showing up -- NukeZero, I think -- but I also tried duplicating Content and renaming it and that didn't show up, either. Any assistance would be appreciated, so I don't have to simply create another block (my husband's cheap and dirty answer).

Hello again... the module was NukeJump, and it is not showing up.
Neither is rssReader, and I followed the instructions perfectly:
Just edit "index.php" to customize your links
rssReader module can be rename and multiplied
simply use cut and paste
upload to your modules directory
activate in your admin/modules control panel
done!
I've uploaded it to my modules directory (in Dreamweaver, it's the folder entitled Modules within the folder entitled Students). I then refreshed the Module Admin page, and absolutely no new module showed up. I'd appreciate any assistance.

Anyone out there? We have a deadline of getting this information up and I'd appreciate any assistance. My husband believes that when we migrated to our new server some of the files might have gotten messed up, and that PHPNuke might have been amongst the messed up stuff and that is why the modules are not showing up. Is this possible? Again, any assistance is appreciated.... and please don't say "Do a complete reinstall!" Thanks.

What version are you using? Post the structure of your modules table from phpMyAdmin please
