i tried to install news flash version 2 and i get this error Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/tntblowo/public_html/includes/sql_layer.php on line 238

i looked at other post but did not find anything on this line error or how to fix it

This error means that that mod altered a table that nuke uses and didn't alter the files that use that table (most likely). Look at the code and see what table it altered. Then, unalter it and see if the error goes away. Also, contact the author of the mod for further help.

how can i find what the default line should say so i can fix it back to normal

It's not that easy. You need to find what tables the mod altered by either reading the sql script or the index.php file (usually) of the mod. Then compare the layout to the default nuke table layout. That isolates the table.
