I've been using 7.9 patched for a while, but now I'm going to build a new website and I'm wondering if a change to raven 7.6 build would be more secure.
I imagine that 8.0 is far from complete and safe, so I guess it's not an option.

Raven's 7.6 is absolutely the best that is available right now
