New install with old members DB ?

Hello,
I runing phpnuke 7.6 for some reson have many errors.
I would like to install fresh phpnuke... ( any suggestion what ver?)
but wonder if I can transfer members DB to new fresh install of phpnuke.

Don't want to loose members or ask them to register again.

Any hope?

I recommend 7.6 + latest Patched files + Sentinel
You should be able to transfer the users table just fine, assuming there isn't any major addons that have changed that table
