What is AvantGo?

What is the purpose behind AvantGo? Why couldn't a person just go view the News or Content module? Why have AvantGo?

There are a lot of useless modules in PHP-Nuke. Just delete the ones you don't need and remove any SQL entries corresponding with them.

AvantGo serve to sendcate your new, it's also usefull reference the new by the sersh engine,,
