If you remember, they did this with the 6.5 release as well. Just be patient, as the club release serves a dual purpose. One, and most obviously, a way for FB to supplement the dev. costs. Two, the club is also allows a limited group of people to report bugs that may not have been caught during the beta.
I'd also like to remind everybody on this topic that posting links to club releases outside the club violates the TOS and AUP. |

I hate to be nit picky but technicially once PHPNuke is released to anyone that person has the right to distribute it at will. The GPL FAQ is quite clear for those of us who arent lawyers and dont want to try and figure out what the GPL means. The members of the club may choose not to redistribute 7.0 but that is their choice not their obligation.
This might seem anal, but it really comes down to is PHPNuke Open Source or is it meerly a closed source project that releases its files once the distribution is no longer financially beneficial. I honestly believe the former, but sometimes I see faint signs of the latter approaching this project. I hope for eveyones sake, that isnt true. |

Oh. Where is this address to report bugs to? It certainly not in the 'club'. I give FB kudos for starting this great software, but he is totally clueless on managing it. |

7.0 is really nothing special -in the time youve spentworrying about it you could have installed 6.9, setup a custom theme, hacked in your own mods and ended up with better nuke
7.0 is just 7.0 'cause FB ran outta 6.x version numbers 7.0 should be 6.9.1 imo |

Ok,
My Host can auto install 6.8 but it seems to have some problems like the admin panel is not displaying -- any one have this problem -- is there patches for 6.8 -- totaly new to nuke but soso with HTML.
1st time having my own site, might seem small to some but its HUGE for me....
Thanks

Did he install all the files correctly? He has to add the sql file in the SQL folder that came with the download if that don't work try this one--> http://matternwebdesign.com/sql.zip and have him go to your phpmyadmin or mysqltool in the mySQL database and point it to that file in the sql.
Regards,
Travis |

Well,
Its done all automated thru :
FREE Fantastico installer provided with every account. This will install 35 major open source applications with just the click of your mouse.
so I dont know who to ask and they said that they dont support the installs they just do it for a service of the hosting provides .......
Thanks,
