When someone new registers on my site they are sent a confirmation email with an activation link. Problem is the link that's given is bad. It doesn't work. I cannot figure out how to fix this or disable it.

I've never had this problem before either.

I had that problem a long time ago.
The problem was I had the url typed wrong in the admin/preferences menu.
