Thought it may be a good idea not sure how to do it though. Is it possible to be at your site and when a user clicks on link X it brings him to the outside site while retaining your blocks? I thought this may be helpfull if your blocks had a lot of usefull links.

Just have your links open a new window using the TARGET property of the anchor tag, i.e. target="blank"
