Problem with admin login has occured after upgrade of apache to new version and php to new version. None of my admins inluding me as god admin can not login. I have tried to upgrade the script to 1.7 version but after uploading images ( no harm done, yet ) i found out that I have to be logged in as god admin in order to run the upgrade thing...

I was doing the upgrade in order to gain god admin access...

so What do I do now?

my password that I now it works is not accepted...

Please help as soon as possible...

I'd remove Admin Secure modified files (you did create a backup right?) and then clear your authors table. You should be able to create a new Superuser and then reinstall Admin Secure once you have access again.

I guess they are still on the server. Since my partner did instalation of them i am not sure which files do I have to remove. Is there a list of files from 1.6 anywhere ?

i was thinking in that direction but still the admins are still in sql and md5 values are the same... so where is the problem ?

If Admin Secure is blocking your access, just disable it. Remove the edits admin.php, auth.php, and mainfile.php (if no other mods, just load a clean copy of these files from your Nuke installation).

If you want to do it thoroughly you can just download the 1.6 version from the website and extract the files to see which files are modified or installed, and then either copy over those files with the unmodified PHPNuke files and remove the Admin Secure specific files from the PHPNuke folders. then you'll be good as gold again. This is assuming you have no other mods done to the site and you can just copy over the modified files with the original PHP-Nuke files for the version your running.

This is usually how I basically uninstall a mod which I want to revert. You should also read the Admin Secure README/Install file as it should have notes on how to properly uninstall it within the 1.6 version tar file or zip file.

Hope this helps.

More likely your new Apache installation does not allow HTTP Auth login. If you enable admin HTTP Auth login, this is usually the case. However, disable HTTP Auth login can be done without login as god admin. Detailed instructions are described in faq.txt. Smile
