Not sure about Windows but on Unix sites just entering .htaccess in the path window will do. |

Hello,
The path should be.....
c:/program files/apache group/apache2/htdocs/.htaccess
note: Make sure the .htaccess file is writeable (666) with at least one space at the bottom of your .htaccess file. |

Did you even bother to try Sentinel™ xfsunolesphp?
It will ban someone using the htaccess file also. |

Did you happen to look at the admin at all?
You will notice it there. |

@nukenewbie
We are talking about .htaccess the file, right?
You should put it inside the folder/directory htdocs if that is the PHP-Nuke root directory (where index.php, modules.php, admin.php, mainfile.php etc resides). You can not save a file as .htaccess or create a new .htaccess file on windows machine.
Here what I usually do. Get a copy of a .htaccess file either from the zip distribution or cvs (I belive NukeCops/CPGNuke has it). You can edit it to your liking and move it around from folder to folder inside windows. You just can not create it.
Your path should look like this
c:/program files/apache group/apache2/htdocs/.htaccess
(.htaccess is the file we are talking about)
