When I try to install Admin Secure 1.7 on my PHP-Nuke 6.8 portal I get this error message:
Database Error!
An error was encountered while creating mirror table.
Error Message:
You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(aid varchar(25) NOT NULL default '', name varchar(50) NOT NULL (Code: 1064)
The SQL tables does work and I even checked them with phpmyAdmin. What could be the problem? Could I fix them with phpMyAdmin?

Are you correctly set db name in $asec_dbtable variable at asconfig.php?
Try not using any reserved characters such as periods, slashes, dashes, commas, (semi)colons, etc.

Hep, I didn't use any speacial charachters in $asec_dbconfig and in $asec_dbtable.

Sorry...
I rechecked the configuration and a " sign was missing.
Now I could install Admin Secure with no problem.
It's a great program, but it really slows down the computer/website. The Protector system is much faster so I stayed with it, but I will use Admin Secure as well if I have a faster computer!

Ah, glad to hear it.
Preo, check whenever you still using AS 1.5.
I think I've been boost execution time since 1.6, so it shouldn't took too longer to load a page.
Since 1.6, I also put benchmark option. In /includes/asconfig.php, set $benchmark variable to 1, then go to AS Administration Panel (asec.php), click on "About" icon, then "Benchmark Result" link.
Please let me know if you find some tasks took more than 1 second.
