I have always used this block on my sites. Reason it allows me to see IP's and Site members as the move thru my site while I am working on it.
My questions - since my site was hacked a few weeks ago, and I have been working hard to update everyting, I have began to notice IP's in sections of my site that are not active and never have been.
How are they getting there? Most Modules they are sitting on are not default modules for Nuke, they getting there and should I be worried if they are on those Addon Modules that I have never activated.
I don't activate them until I have finished all my updates. TY.

These might well be bots.

True, but I thought most bots had like a ip like aol and google bots.
you know crawler@goodle what ever and the aol one.
Theres are just IP's. and when I do a who is where on them, they don't show as a bot from what I am seeing.
I have been banning them, but not sure how or why they are there.

If they are general phpNuke modules, then probably script kiddies looking for exploits. Best to ban them, or install something like Hack Alert to notify you if there is an actual attempt to hack.
