After upgrading from 6.5 beta 5 to 6.5 beta 6 and finally making everything work all my topics and posts are gone.
I know they are there, I have looked in the database - it even says the correct number of topics, posts and who posted last - but when you click on any of the forums it just says there is nothing there.
It is very very frustrating and I had the same problem when I upgraded from 6.0 to 6.5 beta 5 but wasn't too bothered then because my forums were pritty much empty however now they have a lot of posts.
I can look at every post in phpmyadmin but they do not appear in the forum!
Did you do anything to the database when u upgraded?
All that should have been touched is the users table for hte 6 field name changes

yep, thats all i changed, its sooooo annoying - it did say the correct amount of topics, i clicked re-sync (in forums admin) and it reset them to 0 but i know the posts are still there, i have seen them
btw, the reason im not logged in is i STILL have not recieved my password

hmm ive pin pointed it
for some reason the topics table is empty - i have not got a clue how, i did run the upgrade script, maybe that emtied the table, anyhow bloody annoying!!!
when i create a new topic now it contains old posts and is screwed up, e.g. page 2 of 1 - 0 replies

Shoot that sucks. Did you run a backup prior to making changes?
