I have a fresh install of Nuke 6.5 without any mods. Does any one have replacement files for using googletap with 6.5?

I tried twice and booted the hack. I checked with my webhost to see if mod-rewrite was enabled and it is.

If you have the modified files I would greatly appreciate if you could email to me or tell me where I can d/l.

I did, and it installed like a charm. Thanx
How do you know when the you were last indexed by google?

Any plans to googlefy the sections module?

I also have a book_list module, which is a book review module. Is there an easy way googlefy this?

here is what the urls look like:
http://www.timbus.com/gate.html?name=Book_List
http://www.timbus.com/gate.html?op=modload&name=Book_List&file=index&op=listbooks&cid=7
http://www.timbus.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Book_List&file=index&op=viewbook&id=4

davper:
// last indexed by google?

Install Who is Where, and you will always know. Right now, I see there are 24 bots on site indexing the Encyclopedia and 3 of them - the News.

Frankly speaking, I don't know what is Sections. Embarassed

sharlein:
Yes, you can add anything what is in the Google Tap. Yet I have noticed that most robots obbey the robots.text instructions. Error pages - any, and please change my address to yours.

In order to close the indexing cycle you should either install the Page Numbers, or activate the Stories Archive.

As for the Amazon book reviews module, I have to install it before producing whatever rules. But you can follow the model of Downloads or Web_Links.

Thanx for the note on indexing. Will do.

I'll also check out that addon you mentioned.

Sections is a module that comes standard with PHP-Nuke. It is for static pages that you don't want to post as an article or in the Content module. It contains lots of text that can be indexed by Google driving traffic to your site.

On my site it is named Tips & Tutorials. But if you look at the url it is this:
http://www.timbus.com/gate.html?name=Sections

I like the sections module because of the way it is presented to the user.

I didn't limit IP 200.
It must be built into PHP-Nuke or my webhost has limited it.

I've put limit to 200. in the .htaccess because my site has been hacked 3 times from such addresses.

Sections are ready, please download again v. 2.25 (62K)

Thanks Imago.

Good work. really many tanks for this package.

is a good idea put in the readme1st.txt
a instruction to the user edit the line

# change to yoursite.com
ErrorDocument 404 http://www.orientalgate.org/forums.html

and if possible edit the ban in 200.* ip. Wink

I really know the brazilian script kidies, my website is hacked by a Turkish "hacker" and i dont ban this country IP...many phpnuke brazilian sites is hackead by european hacker with menssages in French

I download you new pack using a proxy in this list
http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html

Ban IP from Brazil increase your protection only in 5% , 10% maybe.

I respect your opinion and certainty. I can not agree, but I defend your right Very Happy

many thanks again.. from Brazil Smile

somebody was trying to hack my site the other day. Unfortunately for them, they were from the UK so they got a special surprise the following morning - their Internet access is now blocked, their computer's having "problems" due to a prezzie I sent them, and I hear they've been given a warning by the police.
