Hi guys sorry to bother you with my newbie questions..
First, how do I edit .php files? If I open them in notepad, everything comes up on one or two lines...
I'm running nuke 6.5 on a remote apache server.
Second. Changed my theme and everything got messed up. I get this message:
Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/header.php on line 31
Warning: Failed opening 'themes//theme.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/psa/apache/lib/php') in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/header.php on line 31
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: themeheader() in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/header.php on line 47
Tried the themefix but it couldn't find my themes, used the line ...=$'3D-Fantasy' (Do I have to include the path, because I didn't get this to work either.)
Can anyone please help? By the way the Analyzer and connecttest gives green lights.

Please search the forums on 'open_basedir' (w/o the quotes). There are several postings that may help you.
As to the editor, you have to edit your files locally then ftp them to your server. Most any text editor should work. I use Textpad.
Maybe my php isn't connecting to mysql at all? I backed up my sql before things started to mess up, but I don't know how to restore the backed up database. Used myadmin to back it up...

Download analyzer and conntest. conntest will verify your nuke configuration is connecting to database or not. Then, please post a link back to analyzer. For more information on the open_basedir issue, link here http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.safe-mode.php
