Id swear that nuke.sql used to create the database and then add the tables and such.... now Im finding it only creates the tables? (not the database, so theres no db to create the tables in). Maybe phpmyadmin is messing up (its happened before)....
Then again, maybe Im having one of those days (having trouble thinking today).... more coffee and a nap maybe? Maybe a rum and coke? (smile)
---
nukesql.php should be revised as well (?) no docs, what comes first (nuke.sql or nukesql.php... how is one supposed to know?) and making a newbie copy 'this file' (which file? the nukesql.php or the config.php) to root and such... be nice if that wasnt necessary. And does it work for installations that are not in a directory directly off root?
My head hurts....

Yes the sql doesn't create the database, that already needs to be done by your or your host. However, having that option sounds good to me.

Well, I'll be a hunkys muncle. That means my QUICK GUIDE is missing a vital factor! I use ManageMySQL to create my databases, pretty easy, but I would think many people dont have this ability.
Gotta be a way to make this really easy so even a hunkys muncle can do it in a snap... Im sure that will come. (one click install)

I might be able to expand on the shell script.

Ahhh... cool. I've been thinkin about ways to do it with php mysql (but Im still reading the php and mysql docs so I only know enough to be a danger to myself).
A web interface would be cool... put in your parameters, hit go, it fills in the config.php, the cvs installs the files, the database is created using the parameters you put into config.php, and boom... you have a nuke site that almost anyone can do a fast install.
