I've got several different sites running different versions, anywhere from 6.5 to 7.0a2 and the one thing I've mod/hacked with each one is the Your_account module. I currently use the NSN Your_Account module across most of my sites and love the ability to turn on/off emailing users their activation codes and locking them out of certain themes. So, I guess, suggestion #1, add the option for Admins to be able to turn on/off all of the items featured in NSN Your_Account mod. (It doesn't work with 7.0 and I guess that NSN has no plans for modding to 7.0).
2. It would be nice to have only one place to go to change your Profile information rather than 2 (Right now, there's the Your_Account mod and the Forums Profile). I personally like the Forums Profile mostly because of its ability in choosing Avatars (I know my users prefer this rather than the Your_Account mod). Which brings me to....
3. Avatars. If Profiles cannot be consolidated, then at least can there be a way to choose Avatars as in the Forums Profile?
All the above suggestions can possibly be fixed with a major overhaul of the Your_Account module. It's a big task, but would definitely alleviate many of the problems users are having with Avatars and Logins I think.
Now as far as other ideas: (And some of these may just be going overboard, but nonetheless here they are...)
4. Multisites Feature: Have the ability to run several sites off of one Installation of PHP-Nuke. (One Set of PHP-Nuke Files, One MySQL database with the Prefixes renamed, and Possibly several config.php files placed within folders/subdomains?)
And Now I go Overboard.... (These are mostly just modules that I have tested and seem to beat the rest of the pack IMHO. I have also found these to be quite useful in my sites and they have given me the least amount of headaches.)
5. WYSIWYG: Although I personally use WYSIWYG 3.1.0 From http://www.nukedownloads.com, I think it would be great to have a built in WYSIWYG Editor...
6. Calendar: Eventcal212 still remains to be one of the best Calendar Mods out there, but there's only one thing that bugs me about it... the fat that the abbreviations for the days of the week (SMTWTFS) are not on the block view.
Well, that's pretty much it.... for now...
I guess I'd just be very pleased to see a new Your_Account module in place...

First of, LMAO at your Avatar
Some very neat ideas, especially the Your_Account and Forums Profile, I have thought this for some time.
Thanks, deep down inside we're all pissed off little babies...
Anyways, I kept thinking all day about what I posted and I've come to the conclusion that basically, screw all the nice little additions, and just focus solely on consolidating, fixing, and testing the Profiles (Your_Account and Forums), and placing them in the next version of PHPNuke.
I could be wrong, but aren't more than half of the problems, bugs, and security issues due to some kind of problem within the Your_Account module?Users and admins having problems with logins, avatars, newsletters, emails, preferences in general all are attributed to this module.
If there was a total rewrite of the module from the ground up, I feel that half these issues would be gone. Not only that, but if it were done within version 7.0, you could truly say that 7.0 is a whole new breed of PHPNuke (right now to me, it doesn't seem like the architecture has changed all that much and from what I've seen it is buggier than any of the previous versions. I've downloaded alpha 1 and 2 from the club and have had nothing but headaches ever since).
Of course if a total rewrite of the Your_Account mod was done, who's to say that the first couple of versions won't be even worse off. But that's a chance I'm willing to take, just to get all these annoying little reoccurences from happening.
The question now is, will FB actually do this or stay with the current trend of keeping these two profiles separate?
I'm all for a revamp of the module and I'm sure there's a lot of other people who would agree with me. And although I'm not a coder, I'd be more than willing to help in any way I can to get this off the ground...
