Hi,

I am trying to setup a machine with Windows XP, Apache 2 (php as CGI), phpNuke 6.0/6.5RC2 and MySQL. Has anyone got this to work?

I have phpNuke running on my Unix host but I want a local copy for testing. I got it installed and can see the Nuke main page but can't log in. Looking around at various sites, I see others with problems using Windows as a server. Anyone got the configuration I am try to use to work?

Can you point me to where I can find the answer to these windows issues?

is php.ini set up correctly (see http://www.nukecops.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1 ) for reference of settings.

I'm a little surprised that you're using Apache on a Windows box, Most ppl just stick with IIS (I use IIS and it works fine).

My laptop has Windows XP Home Edition which does not have IIS on it. On XP Pro has IIS.

You wouldn't know how to install PWS on Windows XP Home? I can't find it and it is not part of the Windows components. That is why I went with Apache.

BTW. I got it to work with the php.ini changes you suggested! Thanks.

not having XP Home, I can't point you in the right direction. If you've got it working with Apache, then you may as well stick with that Smile
