I've installed PHPNuke and everything looked good. I've followed the link to create the super user, done some administration (so far, nothing wrong).

The problem is when I returned to my homepage. It looked exactly like when I installed PHP Nuke ! The welcome message was still there (I deleted it). And there was no login block.

I've tried to go to the admin.php page directly. It worked. phpnuke Asked me to login, and after that I was in the admin section. When I'm log I can see all the changes I've done ! But the only way to login is to go directly to the admin.php page.

Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Thats how the admin login works its seperate from the normal user login. You can if you want put a block for this on the main page. I don't bother. You can always just bookmark the admin.php page.

Maybe but the changes I made as an admin should be recorded for everyone to see no?

I still see the "Welcome to PHP-Nuke!" in my home page even if I deleted it and the title bar still show PHP-Nuke Powered Page.

Try this fix from NukeResources.

Preferences not saving fix
Description: This file will fix the bug in the footer text that causes your preferences to not be saved. This applies only to PHP-Nuke 6.0

I tried it but it didn't work.

Now admin.php don't work. I must create the admin each time I log into my page. But when the admin is created all the changes I've made in the previous sessions apply.

Another weird thing is that even if I log out, phpnuke still thinks I'm log in.

Strange if you uploaded the analyzer.php maybe ZX or one of the other brighter bulbs could help trouble shoot your installation.

Or at least provide nuke version server software mysql and php versions. Browsers ect...

I should have suggested that in the first place. Laughing
