I set up my site, all things were working well. PHP Nuke 6.5 Beta 6 Development.

Now all of a sudden, when I go to my Admin Page and Click on the Forums Icon
Image

I get IE trying to download a file instead of The Admin Page for my Forum.

I'm running brain dead and I don't see a fix for this (or a suggestion as to how I need to correct this!)

Someone got an idea of what I'm talking about ???

one thing i saw somewhere was to disable gzip compression in php.ini

The fixes I've seen are all on the main phpnuke.org forums

Also, check the file permissions.

This is not a problem in php nuke 6.5 beta 6, as i use that distro and it works fine for me.

That's exactly it. But in my testing, I had to disable it from nuke_bbconfig then it all worked well.

Thanks.. that did it... once I set <b>gzip_compress</b> to "0" in the nuke_bbconfig table all things are back to normal.

Glad to hear you're all up and running now Smile
