There are so many good ones out there, honestly. One that every PHP programmer should have is
PHP and MySQL Web Development (Second Edition) by Luke Welling and Laura Thompson. Wrox Press and O'Reilly are always favorites too. Goto to Borders.com, for example, and type in PHP. Have fun!
