I think via ftp its "chmd" instead of "chmod". SSH is the better route to take, its a secure telnet -- so to speak. |

Don't think you will be able to chmod by connecting to your own Windows based computer like i told you in your other post about this, since i don't have experience with running Nuke on windows maybe someone that has can help you with the permissions and how to set them. |

In Win2000Prof, possible to set file permissions, by right clicking on file, via Win Explorer, then choose properties... This may also apply to WinXP, cannot say for sure, 'cos don't run it |

So what is it you need to set the permissions for? Does it work without setting permissions? And does the server you are connecting to run linux/unix or windows? You cannot CHMOD on a windows server. I dont know that much but I know a little. |

Why does the internet need Windows...
"In a world without fences and borders, who needs Windows and Gates?!"
Yep, it would be useful to have a rock at hand... |
