Hey, I'm not sure if anyone else knows this but if you replace the .htaccess file with the googletap one you can't get your subdomains to work. I dont know, maybe this is just an error on my side, but I've tested it on 2 different websites of mine.
I use many subdomains and GT doesn't interfere. Basically what you have to do is install .htaccess files into your subdomains and disable rewriteengine.
