I use
IIS 5.0, Windows 2000 Server
Thanks for your answers |

Using phpMyAdmin go the users table and find your username, make sure your user_level is 2 and not 1. |

I have already checked in the nuke_users so that my level is 2. And i have also already deleted the cookies and tried once again after that and still no success... any more ideas? |

like I said in my first reply, for this issue, the best place to get help is:
http://bbtonuke.sourceforge.net
That's where Tom (the guy who did the port) runs.

They are right, the user_level is supposed to be at 2 for *your* username under nuke_users. |

Then you may have made the same mistake 80% of new bbtonuke users make, all files included with the port must be uploaded so they replace their matching nuke files, some ftp clients fail to replace them by default as they somehow sense the files being the same while they aren't, i've had to upload files one by one more than once to solve problems like this, of course this also means i have poor taste in my selection of ftp clients. |

Hmm... interesting solution. I don't normally think of register_globals in that particular context. |
