Did a fresh install of Nuke 7.6 and installed the upgrade patch "PHP-Nuke Patched -- 2006 chatserv - Nuke Patched 3.1 DEV Team" "AKA - 76patched3dot5"
FTP'd all files
Ran upgrade.php
Deleted upgrade.php
TRIED to import upgradedb.sql, it failed
tried to access www.mysite.com/home/INDEX.php and recieve error message "Access Denied"
I AM able to access www.mysite.com/home/ADMIN.php, as well as 4 other CONTENT pages that are links in my main navigation for the site.
CAN also access the FAQ and FORUMS link off of navigation, HOWEVER, I CANNOT acess the FORUMS options area off the Administration Menu area, It just displays a blank page.
CAN also access all other areas in the Administration Menu, just not the FORUMS settings area.
So basicly, just cannot access "index.php" and "http://www.mysite.com/home/admin.php?op=forums"
I figured id mess around and go ahead and replace ALL upgraded files in \modules\News with the stock/default nuke 7.6 files, you know...all the files you replace with the upgrade package.
I figured i would go ahead and slap BACK in the upgrade files in \modules\News with the new upgrade files etc, one at a time, and then refresh the index.php page to try and determine which file was making it "ACCESS DENIED"
Well, I replaced them all with the upgraded files, and am STILL able to access index.php LOL
I guess i just needed to give it a swift kick in the Rainbow Brite !
Well, that issue is fixed I GUESS, but I still cannot access the ADMININSTRATION MENU / FORUMS options screen, just a blank white page...any ideas guys ?
