SMTP appserve postcast thunderbird gmail hosting on my windo

Hello everyone,

I am running appserve on my windows box,
this has apache,mysql and php to host a pcnuke extreme frontend.
as appserve does not have a smtp server i have had to install one seperatly, so i chose and installed postcast, so far good.
i have a gmail.com account and have mozilla thunderbird installed,

but i am running around in circled trying to get nuke to work with postcast and gmail, where is the best place to get help with this, or a tutorial, idiots step by step guide once i am almost ready to go live once the smtp is sorted

any advice is greatly appreciated

Basically phpNuke relies on the local PHP mail() function. You'd have to configure that to work for your smtp server
