recently i start to use phpnuke 8 and have the following problems:
1. html is not working in the stories etc. i added the allowable htmls in the config.php
2. some of the avatar size are too big (the same avatar used in 7.6)
3. karma is not working in forum
4. didn't get addons like shoutbox that does refresh the entire index page
5. the theme i am using comes along with a forum that is full page. how to make the leftside menus/blocks appear when the forum is open. this has become a problem as the shoutbox cannot be seen when users are in the forum.
anyone have the solutions please?
when/if i detected more problems i will update

anyway i have sorted out some of these problems
the problems i am facing now:
1. when html is activated that plain text option is not availablein the Post Stories/Submit News. How to make it available for html and text optional like in the earlier versions?
2. seems there is limit for posts in the stories and forums. whenever i try to post long texts after clicking the preview it takes me to INDEX page. some users reported this happens in the forums also. where do i increase the limit?
3. the quote in the forum is working without the name of the poster being quoted, if the posters name is quoted, the quote is not working.
anyone have the solutions? thnx in advance

when the story/news posted contains the word UNION, it cannot be posted. where do i rectify this?
