smartdark won't hide left blocks when viewing forum... help!

i've tried putting in the correct code, but it's just not working. i'm trying to hide the left blocks when in the forum.

There is nothing wrong with that code, except perhaps in the begining. No line should start with

!";

We need to see the previous code to determine whether it is part of a valid line or not

it's not the whole code. for some reason, when I try and post the entire theme.php file, as code, I get a athorization error, or something like that. i had to scale down the code inorder to get the post to accept.

i know that is a popular theme, is there anyway you could test it out of one of your sites? i've been able to hide the left blocks on over 15 different themes, and smartdark is the only one that won't work.
