I am having difficulties backing up on my website, both using the backup DB function in the administration panel and even backing up by forums in the phpbb admin tool that can be accessed in the administration section of the Phpnuke.

First, when I click on the icon that saying Backup DB in the phpnuke administration, it tries to load the file however it times out. This backup db tool use to work. I assume the file is too large to download through the browser. Since this didnt work, i went into phpmysql and exported all tables for the whole nuke database. There are options such as Data + structure, etc and including the options to have drop down tables. What is the best selection incase i need to use the backup files in the future?

Secondly, backing up my forums. I am having difficulty for that when I go into the forums phpbb admin section and i backup the tables..the file that downloads it full of html code and in the code it saying "general error".
What is the best way to go about backing up only the forums?

Thanksss!

For my site phpMyAdmin does not work anylonger, because the database is too huge over 200 MB and I get only a partial backup with phpMyAdmin. For me now MySQLDumper works very well and it can also be used for restoring backups that are very big.
